Project Teal invovled a full interior and roof demolition of a single-storey home, retaining the original brick facade and foundation as the base for a newly added second storey. Ceiling heights were increased from 8 to 9 feet on both levels, enhancing the overall sense of space and light. Inside, custom millwork sets the tone for a modern interior anchored by a striking central white oak floating staircase. A glass wall subtly separates the kitchen and living room, preserving an open-concept feel while defining each space. Structural upgrades – including concealed stell beams and posts – enabled the complete reconfiguration of the main living, dining, and kitchen areas, creating a fluid and contemporary layout.
